Real Men Wear Pink!

For those of you who know Andrew, you know that he hated pink (or so he said) & you're probably laughing at this picture. When he was little, he told his one cousin to take off a pink shirt because boys do not wear pink! He had a serious aversion to all things pink (or even purple) because they're girly colors. Well, we went shopping the other day and he saw this shirt. He had to have it. We were skeptical, but he was really funny about it and had to wear it to school today. I can't wait to hear what kind of comments he got!
If you click on the picture, you can see it larger and maybe read the shirt. It says....
I wear this shirt to annoy you.
Smart people wear pink
My Dad did the laundry.
I make this color look good.
It was my last clean shirt
Rock stars wear pink
Pink is the new black
My Mom made me wear it.
I'm a movie star.
Tough Guys wear pink!

A Tale of 3 Mugs

At first, I was only going to do "A Tale of 2 Mugs", but then I realized that I had to have a separate mug for hot tea. LOL! Here are my mugs.... the cream colored, woven one is the coffee mug I use every day in PA. The striped, multi-colored mug is my every day mug when I'm in Myrtle Beach. The chipped, blue, winter-scene mug is my "hot tea" mug here in PA. Can you tell I'm particular about my mugs? Notice how they all have to be tall ones? I definitely need to scrap about this some day. :)

Happy Valentine's Day

I'm a little late with this post, but better late than never. LOL. We had a very nice Valentine's Day at home. The boys got a few small presents from us and they gave me a card. Jim gave me a dozen roses & I gave him a box of Turtles (candy). We made some Valentine's Day cookies & cupcakes. Yum!

Signs of Winter

I've always been excited to grab my camera and take pictures of "nice things" like when spring comes around and everything starts to green up again. This got me to thinking because today it is 65 degrees outside - yes in February in northeast PA. It's weird to me, for it to be this weird and it's melting all the snow. I feel bad for my boys that the snow is almost gone because they love to sled and quite honestly, if we move, it's not going to be like this for us next year. So I decided to go outside with my camera and take some pictures that vary from what I normally like to shoot. I also thought my blog needed a new entry. LOL
